NOTE: These are not the only thread types allowed on Avengers Next. We still have the regular types of threads that you're used to. These are just extra types that have been added to the site to try to enhance your experience with our site.
Mission Threads
These threads can happen in any in-character board on the site. These threads are usually closed, tagging specific characters. Their name pretty much says it all. They're important missions that groups of characters will be sent on. These threads are started and ended by a member of staff. If you have an idea for a Mission Thread, please contact the head admin, Anna.
Battle Threads
These threads go in the Rapid Fire board only. Their name pretty much says it all. They are large to medium sized battles between multiple characters on the site, often teams going up against each other. They don't require the site's 200 minimum word count to help make posting in them easy and quick. These threads are started and ended by a member of staff. If you have an idea for a Battle Thread, please contact the head admin, Anna. These threads, unless requested otherwise, are usually open to any character to join.
Rapid Fire Threads
These threads go in the Rapid Fire board only. They are canon threads that don't require the site's 200 minimum word count. They are meant to help keep members active, even if they don't have the time or muse to meet the site's word count. They are also meant to be fast and easy to reply to. These are completely up to and controlled by the members currently participating in them.
Team Threads
These are just threads that are meant for any character in a certain team. These are so you don't have to tag every character in a team. An example of one would be: "Thread Name (AVENGERS)". This would let anyone with characters in the Avengers know that thread is open to them. A team thread could be made for multiple teams. These are completely up to and controlled by the members currently participating in them. They can be created in any of the in-character boards on the site.
